Great song but what is Dave Davies up to? He looks transvestite or some gender mutation going on in this do you think? Was he trying to upstage Ray?

Probably was a bit of sibling rivalry there but I don't think it distracts too much from the performance and possibly fits in with the image of the Kinks - Dedicated Follower of Fashion and Lola etc!

I think Dave was a good songwriter himself - Death of a Clown etc. so possibly felt in the shadow a bit. But I think it makes the vid look interesting.
